ACSL SOTEN Drone
ACSL SOTEN: NDAA-Compliant Aerial Imaging Platform
The ACSL SOTEN is a compact, secure drone platform designed for professional inspection, monitoring, mapping, and emergency response operations. Built for field use, SOTEN combines a lightweight airframe, secure data handling, and swappable camera payloads to support a wide range of mission requirements.
Compact, Field-Ready Design
With a compact 4.4 lb design and foldable frame, SOTEN is easy to transport, deploy, and operate in demanding environments. Its small size makes it well suited for infrastructure inspections, public safety operations, environmental monitoring, and industrial site work where mobility and fast setup are essential.
NDAA-Compliant Drone Platform
SOTEN is designed for organizations that require a compliant drone solution for sensitive or mission-critical operations. Its NDAA-compliant platform supports secure deployment across government, public safety, utility, and industrial applications.
Secure Data and Communications
SOTEN supports AES-encrypted wireless transmission to help protect communications data, flight data, and photo/video data. Image and video data can also be encrypted when recorded to media, helping organizations maintain stronger control over mission information.
One-Touch Swappable Camera Payloads
SOTEN supports one-touch swappable camera payloads, allowing teams to quickly adapt the aircraft to different mission types. Supported camera options include:
Standard camera
EO/IR combo camera
Multispectral camera
Optical zoom camera
FLIR Hadron 640R
This payload flexibility allows operators to use SOTEN for visual inspection, thermal imaging, vegetation analysis, zoom inspection, and situational awareness missions.
Imaging and Inspection Capabilities
The standard camera features a 1-inch, 20MP sensor with a mechanical shutter and supports 4K video recording at 30 FPS. This makes SOTEN suitable for high-resolution aerial photography, asset inspection, mapping, and documentation.
For specialized missions, EO/IR and FLIR thermal payload options support heat-signature detection, while multispectral and optical zoom cameras expand the platform’s use across agriculture monitoring, environmental analysis, utility inspection, and security operations.
Flight Performance
SOTEN is engineered for reliable aerial work in the field, with up to 25 minutes of maximum flight time when equipped with the standard camera and flying at 18 mph airspeed. The aircraft supports a maximum ground speed of 33.5 mph and operates in temperatures from 14°F to 104°F.
Obstacle Awareness and Field Protection
SOTEN includes obstacle avoidance sensors, including vision systems on the front, top, and bottom, along with infrared sensors on the top and bottom. The aircraft is IP43 rated, helping support outdoor operations where light environmental exposure may be present.
Multi-Controller Operations
SOTEN supports multiple pilot operations, allowing control to be transferred in flight between up to three controllers. All connected controllers can continuously receive video and telemetry, making the platform useful for coordinated operations, training, public safety, and inspection workflows.
Smart Controller Integration
SOTEN can be paired with the ACSL TAITEN Smart Controller, which features a bright 7-inch display, IP54-rated design, AES256 encrypted communication, and up to 8 hours of operating time. TAITEN is built to provide a responsive control experience for demanding field missions.
Ideal Applications
SOTEN is suitable for a wide range of professional applications, including oil and gas inspection, pipeline leak detection, power line inspection, solar farm inspection, mining operations, disaster response, firefighting support, border security, industrial facility inspection, precision agriculture monitoring, forestry management, environmental monitoring, coastal and marine monitoring, transportation infrastructure inspection, railway line monitoring, topographic mapping, and hazardous material response.
